The Secret to Help Prevent Stretchmarks


Being a mother is a wonderful thing. The pregnancy experience, although, can be many things; exciting, stressful, fun, nauseating, exhausting, and the list goes on. One thing many soon-to-be mothers agree on is the anxiety about getting stretchmarks. Many women in my family have them, so naturally I was worried about getting them too. I thought to myself well it seems simple- while the skin is stretching, stay hydrated and it should stretch just fine without scarring, right? I drank water and used my best oils, whipped tallow, coconut oil, almond oil, and many others daily. Basically, I used my face and body serum or the whipped tallow constantly, usually multiple times a day! Once I started to show I started my daily hydration regimen. Drink as much water as I could and oil up. Plus trying to stay in shape when (if) you have the energy is key! I now have 3 children and not one stretchmark!
